The little bit (even if he had any) of trust Nakyum HAD in Seungho is gone, so why the hell do they think that he'll put his life in his hands? If Nakyum had the security he needed in the first place he wouldnt be in this situation. Seungho saw the jealously the other dude had and yet did nothing about it.
And oui, as you said Nakyum is a selfless person. We saw that example multiple times, and i guess i can say he's a little bit naïve.
