Shougo is sent off to boarding school because of his being too close to Izumi before Rei meets the Sena family. rei and Shougo meet around 9 months after Rei joins SenaPro.

when is exactly shougo will meet rei?isnt it about the same time when izumi's father took him in?because if i'm not mistaken..there's this one chapter which shougo was frustrated that he couldnt spend time with rei and izumi because he was sent to america is it?and didnt nagisa sent him because of his 'too much devoted' attitude to izumi and rei?
