so after cang was subject to rape and torture by Jing he still loves him and wants to stay with him. it’s a bunch of Stockholm syndrome and manipulation that makes cang stay with Jing. Then Jing basically confessed to cang and they end up together. but it’s really disgusting that they do because jing did very gruesome things to cang.
Actually lu cang attacked someone with high status and got death setence, he didnt really died, he got someone to replace him and comeback to his hometown, but jing become so deppresed after lu cang left him, he decided to visit him, he ended up crying in lu cang leg beg him to comeback, lu cang fainted due to shock and jing carrying him back to the palace and they become lovey dovey after that, its a whole stockholm syndrom but Im glad seeing jing didnt rape him again and only do it when lu cang want to do it.
the way the novel ended disgusted me. poor cang.
