I had a feeling that the lady in the last panel is Nakyum's sister from the kisaeng(?). If you try to re-read Ch 46 you can see his "Noona" wearing the same outfit as the lady. Also, if Nakyum came from a noble family (which is possible) but from what we all know, he was abandoned since he was a baby. How can his parents/family knew that he became a painter? The lady may looked like an upperclass because kisaeng(?) wore fancy (not quiet sure of the term) clothes and make up to entertain upperclass men.
that's also my hunch except for the family background hahahaha mangalover
oh yes i understood. That would be a major twist if he really is from a noble family since he doesn't looked like a lowborn for me. But idk, i'm tired of making guesses because of byeonduck lol
i also thought the same aside from him being in a noble family. maybe because of his face, he doesn't look like a servant or lowborn at all. i just hope the lady saves him from seungho -,-
