Okay, so hear me out Jinyao needs to get married, preferably to someone of power like the He family right? But Jinyao will most likely want to stay with Yiyun and live as a family with baby rourou. Now here's the fun theory part Yiyun’s grandparents stated that one of the grandkids should take over the He family business WHICH MEANS if Yiyun takes over the family business he can get married to Jinyao, Jinyao could keep his position and Yiyun could be of a higher status which ends up in a nice win-win situation.
