Let's say you're a leader of a female sect and you have three Genius disciples. you let them join a competition between the other three sects who are stronger than your sect. and you tell your three disciples
Get In The Monastery: The Red Sect has been killing our members for years!!! if you get the chance kill as many as possible.
Disciple1: yes sect leader!!!!
Disciple2: yes sect leader!!!!
Disciple3: yes sect leader!!!!
The competition ends! and everyone returns to their respective sect...you just got a letter from the Red Sect! saying "two of your disciples killed my daughter and young master we will come there later to kill both of them, so don't get involved in this matter" so the Red Sect leader comes to your sect kills and hurts several members, and then kills Disciple 2. when you arrive Disciple1 is the only one left standing.... your strongest cultivator loses to the Red Sect leader and
Get In The Monastery: That's enough!!!! stand back
Red Sect Leader: You should've done that from the start
Disciple1: ....
Red Sect Leader: Disciple1 time to die
Get In The Monastery:
That’s not even close to what the situation is and he is an emperor not a sect leader which is a huge difference, the emperor will go with the way that would kill the LEAST amount of people if he knows he can’t win then it’s best to back off then to let multiple other people die in vain just because you wanted to be stubborn if anything they can pull the “This was a survival competition and your son failed to survive oh well” card but they didn’t for whatever reason either way this sect leader is being irrational and irritate because his son is dead (given) and since he knows he’s the strongest he knows he can get away with a lot of shit... the one thing that the emperor failed to do is become stronger than everyone in his country and I mean EVERYONE if he was strong enough this situation wouldn’t have happened... this is what happens when you choose royals based on blood instead of talent..
"That’s not even close to what the situation is and he is an emperor not a sect leader" you bringing up the fact that he is an emperor and not a sect leader is irrelevant to what we are debating. 99% of everything I typed was from this story, I just changed the names from emperor to sect leader, and disciple.
Bruh it has everything to do with him being an emperor tf that’s why you’d called him trash in the first place because you got mad at the fact that he was willing to let one genius die over himself and multiple other people... bruh get your argument straight id understand if he was a sect leader but he’s not he’s an emperor two completely different occupations
He didn’t let them in they barged in like all enemies do.. if he was a sect leader he would’ve fought with him to the death... but because he’s an Emperor he has to think about his own life and the other strong people around him life including the citizens in the area a Sect Leader doesn’t really care for that or should I say need to care compared to a Emperor especially in the time setting that it is in its obvious what his course of action would be ... I’ll put it this way since you’re soooooo confused, would you rather use up all your country’s talent for one genius when it’s not a guaranteed win OR would you rather give up one guy and not get the rest of the defense of your country die in vain?
The problem is this Emperor is just not a good leader at all!!! if we were talking about real life I would agree but, in the world of cultivation one person can change the whole power land escape of a country. the things Qin Cheng has shown is a talent you get once in a lifetime! if you lose that the Qi country will never rise again. and you really think after he kills those two everything will be just fine? in the next competition the enemy is going to slaughter every Qi country member that comes out. no matter what title you have Emperor, Sect leader, King, President, when you let an enemy come into your land and kill your people in front of you! it makes you look weak and pathetic.
This emperor really just turned his back on his own genius in his own country, the second he found out the enemy was too strong.
