He didn’t let them in they barged in like all enemies do.. if he was a sect leader he would’ve fought with him to the death... but because he’s an Emperor he has to think about his own life and the other strong people around him life including the citizens in the area a Sect Leader doesn’t really care for that or should I say need to care compared to a Emperor especially in the time setting that it is in its obvious what his course of action would be ...
