Bro imagine im scared to even think abt it
well not exactly the final exams of high school but administration tests for college... i think korea’s school system is already easier than other countries. like japan, china, taiwan, ppl had to take tests to determine which high schools they go to. if they get scores too low they would either be sent to schools in other cities, go to shitty private schools or drop out... they have a whole lot of subjects too it’s crazy (geology, history, chemistry and a lot more rip)
and that’s not all either.... it’s kinda sad. but there’s still some fun parts abt school. (i’ve been thru it so...)
Yeah schools in asia are just terrible. Confucius made asians life so shitty. Our life depends on grade and if we fail our parents suffer as well even maybe worse.
basically they want students to be good at everything, academics, extra talents like music instruments whatever. while in western countries schools teach you the basics and allow you to take part in things youre interested in.
You think this is only fiction but in korea there are some cases like this. The worst fear in your life is the final exam in highschool. This determines all your life. That 1 year is everything and they call it the hell year (or something)
If i was living in korea as a Student i would have properly been part of their suicide statistics
