    very normal in the entertainment industry. coersion, harassment, rape and drugging in the pursuit of better work for idols and actors is a common occurrence unfortunately.

    didnt the pussycat dolls say they were being prostituted
    and ive seen a few lawsuits from like newer/not as popular kpop boygroups against their labels for harrassment an not being treated like people pretty much
    the entertainment industry has a lot of ugly hidden

    Abuse is worldwide, everywhere.
    I grew up learning about many actresses, dancers and singers went through abuse inside the showbiz, both in the Western Asian country that I live in and in major English-speaking countries.
    In my childhood there were many movies where the showbiz "big guys" tricked rookies and sold them to pimps, drugged them, raped them etc., partly why I'm not as surprised.
    There are also songs I know, from US, talking about sexual abuse inside the showbiz. It's said 94% of women in Hollywood have been assaulted sexually somewhere in their careers. Lost in Hollywood, by System of a Down (Some lyrics are They look at you in disgusting ways, you should've never gone to Hollywood, you should've never trusted Hollywood). Also Kesha's song Praying is about the abuse that she was put through. I think it was her manager and he abused her repeatedly for years.
