Yeah that’s kinda true. For me tho it was nice to see a difference, when a FL is confident and makes guy follow her rather then desperately following him. She wasn’t exactly fair towards him but then again maybe it was necessary for those rumors to die down
the whole revenge/downfall plot was good but the romance felt... lacking? like i had to skip the last few chapters bc i was getting so annoyed at the romance flow and how FL basically made the ML grovel at her feet... the way she said “I’ll let you decide on what you feel about me” and then do a whole 360 and went “lol what ur feeling for me is obviously not love” and then goes back home without having a proper conversation???? idk i just didnt like the romance subplot lol
