So actually he rebelled on purpose because the emperor and empress didn’t have much power he made an agreement with his brother to pretend to be the head of the rebellion and he gave his brother information on the rebellion and what’s so sad is that he purposely banished himself so he can’t see the og fl he really loved her :cry: and that made the og fl feel really guilty cuz she rejected him so when the og fl found out that the engagement of mc and ml was an arranged engagement for 100 days she got mad and told the ML why don’t u give her a chance she really likes u which made the ML say why didn’t u give me a chance and reject me and he doesn’t want the MC to marry him because he thinks she should be with someone who likes her not with someone like him that doesn’t like her he’s a (tsundere) I think he still didn’t realize his feelings for mc at that time
