I got a theory I thought it was weird how the author showed the supposed greatest emperor in history in Lucas flashback. Then later in the chapter where Anastius has that weird thing a man appears with a similar hair cut/style and it is to my belief that The greatest emperor didn’t actually die but used black magic to stay alive and took control of Anastasius and turned him evil. Because from claudes flashback he seemed to genuinely care about his little brother. I don’t know it’s really really far fetched or insane.
