I think they have a shared psychosis. not sure if I spelt that right. anyways, it's when a group of people go insane together, like they all see the same ghost or all heard noises at night but there is no real evidence of it happening. a decent example would be the Salem witch trials. I think the two are experiencing shared psychosis as a result of trauma. then again, it is a manga so idk lol, but that is my theory on the mirrors

but, that doesnt explain the weird incidents happening? like the last chapter where the guy vanished and there was a lot of blood.

the weird incidents is what got me too. Maybe they enter like a trance and end up killing people? that still wouldn't explain the one guy that ran from the house cause it was shaking. but yes, I think in general all of it is a hallucination
