the reason why joowon never confessed was bc if they ever labelled their relationship he knew that they would have to split apart. he would rather not confess and stay with haesoo, than confess and risk losing him. taku was honest with his feelings yes, but he definitely used manipulative tactics and gaslit haesoo. he took advantage of him right after he split up with joowon and easily convinced him into a relationship.

joowon went through so much throughout the whole story especially after haesoo split with him. haesoo was basically his whole life (vice versa), he hardly had anyone else. remember when haesoo lied to him about being home and then we see joowon sitting next to haesoo’s empty bed? remember when haesoo told joowon to leave him alone and he disappeared for several chapters? remember when he had the scandal with the bullies where he didn’t want to put haesoo’s name out there to protect him and harmed his own name for haesoo. remember when taku purposely told haesoo on the phone how much he wanted to touch him bc he wanted to rile joowon up and haesoo was just super confused cause they weren’t like that at the time?

taku didn’t realize he was in love with haesoo till it was too late, for most of the relationship he was probably gonna treat it like the typical fling with the models he dates and throw haesoo away after. so no, he didn’t go through hell. maybe at the end but not through majority of it lmao. anyways, yes haesoo was his first love (unfortunately) but he would’ve been able to get over quite easily cause it was only a month.

Can I get some examples PLEASE! He was no saint to haesoo but he was upfront about what he wanted. Haesoo indecisive ass made the man believe he had a shot when he never did in the first place. For example with Haesoo and Taku that’s like saying a friend(haesoo) said they’ll pay you back when you loaned them money(taku’s relationship too haesoo) in the first place you didn’t HAVE to but you wanted to now they screwed you over by not giving you shit back

1. he purposely mentioned he had a sex tape so haesoo would watch it. then he tried to convince him to write about it so that he could feel guilt. found it interesting when haesoo denied
2. haesoo was definitely super vulnerable after breaking it off with joowon (the only person he had that was close with him), and taku immediately asked him to get in a relationship with him and said to haesoo that he could use him.
3. when taku was taking photographs of haesoo he said something along the lines of imagining losing someone he really loved and never getting to see him again, he knew haesoo would think of joowon. so he knew haesoo was in love with joowon, that’s why he kept trying to rile joowon up.
4. when he was on the phone with haesoo and joowon was in front of him he purposely said he wanted to touch him so joowon would feel mad. haesoo was just super confused cause they weren’t even like that at the time.

instead of asking if haesoo was okay or if joowon was okay after haesoo visited joowon at the hospital, he gaslit haesoo even tho haesoo kept saying sorry to him bc haesoo was about to break up with him and tried to make him feel guilty bc he didn’t show up to his exhibition after party.

not to mention that almost all the sex they had together, was dubcon sex. haesoo always said “stop!” or “no!”. but taku would reply with something like “but i want to”.
