idk but i think its because in both stories there was first something like kidnapping and about trauma and love that is not real and both stories are pretty psychological so in my opinion its mostly because of that
but when i think about it its also completely different. killing stalking is way more intense and after everything, bum didnt fully try to escape and at some point even thought he was in love with sangwoo and he hoped they would have a happy life together. but in obey me, the guy wants to escape all along and doesnt change his mind and also hates that psycho throughout the whole story, unlike in killing stalking. so in conclusion, yeah the stories are in fact very different
