How do you read this manga?

I heard the mangaka didn't want to include the rape scene in the manga.

so if they didn't include it in manga then where did they get the material for the anime? from novel? i'm looking for the beginning of chiaki and hatori relationship and i can't find it so i started to wonder if maybe it's only in the novel and there are no manga chapters telling about their relationship when they were just friends... because in anime... it takes hatori quite some time before he confesses

I dont know about the mangaka but I heard it was the team who did the translation that decided to take out tha crucial part... I mean its not like rape is a taboo thing in yaoi... not that I do agree with that but oh well!

ooooh i get it now... well that sucks... so shota is ok but rape isn't? double standards! i hope it's in novel otherwise it's all wrong... i mean i understand what's happening in manga because i've watched anime but still... i wanted to read that because anime doesn't show everything.... now i'm disappointed (￣ε(#￣)Σ

It's the scanlators dont like HatoriXChiaki rape scene because they dont like those kind of stories. But TakanoXOnodera, there are certain rape scenes too but their history as lovers made it kind of okay. They said they like the shipwreck lovestory between atakanoxOnodera. As for HatoriXChiaki it just plain rape without even saying what Hatori feels. He just past it off as sth a friend does. And Chiaki was soooo confused. It's disturbing. He did it while Chiaki was sick too. Ehhhw.
