The first time i read this I dropped it instantly not because of how fucked up it was but rather because of how stupid Hina was and how much of a jerk Ren was. Now, I cant help but like this work. Hina is stupid at first, yeah, she loves the Ren from the past that saved her constantly and not the actual Ren who is a mess because of his sexuality. She is probably like a reverse Punpun, a person that lives in the past and believes they cannot be happy if not with that person. But Hina overcame it, because (and unlike Punpun) she did have a family who cared about her and finally, she moved on from her love and from her past. For that, I am very happy with the finale.
Ren was a jerk, yes, that didnt change until the middle of the story. If I friggin dropped this in the first place was because of how SELFISH and how much EGOISM he had in his inner self. Using Hina's love and even taking her virginity. Aggggh I was so angry. But I mean, I can't hate him. And idk why...maybe because he really believed if he wasnt a girl he wouldnt be happy never, ever. He was the most complex character probably. While Hina was a girl who could at least express her love,Ren couldnt and he would have done everything to just get to express its love...and he really did almost everything. Until he realized he was totally wrong and tried to make it up for Hina even if that meant denying himself. He apologized countless times and well, okay. Overall, I like this story. There is even an epilogue where Hina is happy and has a cute child while Ren is happy with his boyfriend. Although Hina and Ren seem to have separated.
