For me,
Want to Read = manga that I intend to read, am reading as we speak, have bookmarked, etc. When I finish a manga on my Want to Read list, I put it in Already Read if it's completed or in Reading if it's ongoing. You still get notifications from manga in your Already Read list though, if they're updated. I thought Choco Strawberry Vanilla was done, but a new chapter was added and I was notified.

I only put the things I stop in the middle of in reading, then I bookmark the page I stopped on, and everything else whether ongoing or not into already read, because I've already read everything they've had. Plus when I started, it never occurred to me to do it differently and it seems like too much of a pain to change it now. (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜
I'm a user whose still getting into the gist of things. How do YOU categorize the manga that you've already read vs ones that you're currently reading? I just wanna see what most people are doing. For me, if a manga is on-going, then I haven't completed it. When I finish all of the chapters that are available on mangago, I put the manga in my 'I'm reading' list because technically, I didn't read to the end (How could I when it doesn't exist or isn't available?). I've only put completed manga in the 'already read' list. Here's the IMPORTANT QUESTION: Do you still get update notifications if a manga is categorized as 'already read'?
