Out of the blue in the sense that when I picked up the manhwa, I didn't expect it to get here. Right now, I know it made sense. I don't normally expect to see this kind of narrative in a porn BDSM manga that tbh I read because I wanted to see more pegging. Oh well, I know, that's why I said that I had lied to myself. I do agree with the rest 100%. I did want to see WK being a more elegant master, even with his vicious ways myself. Yeah, he is quite pathetic to the point where it's not satisfying anymore to see him getting tortured but I did want to see WK again, ofc. I'll try to distance myself and enjoy him for what he is and maybe turn off my brain from him hurting Byun for a bit when I read those chapters, if they're not going to get interrupted.
I've actually been reading it since the lezhin days and I read that arc a while ago, I suppose I only remember it because of how much it disturbed me and how terrified for Minho I felt, like how the others have been saying, it felt like reading a horror manga, I am pretty sure if Wookyung really captures Minho for good, Minho is going to end up dead, because the thrill-seeking aspect of a psychopath's behavior and all, how the stakes have to go higher and higher to feel the same high. What's going to end up happening to Minho is going to be actual torture, the man's life will be ruined, and once again, I firmly believe he will end up being killed by Minho as the stakes get higher and higher. I don't think Wookyung can love at all let alone not love like a normal person. I don't think he is a sociopath, I now think he is a psychopath, a very narcissistic one to boot. He has shown absolutely no remorse through his actions. I suppose he is a good character because he genuinely makes me scared and not a lot of characters have been able to do that. And, as you said, he really seems to be an idiot at times.

That's true, that really males sense, and it's interesting too because ironically we, the readers, were also manipulated by Wookyung's fake remorse and reflection, just like how anyone who has met Wookyung has been manipulated because he is a psychopath who is not being treated and has no thoughts of remorse or even the logic of remorse because he chooses not to follow it. That's kinda messed up and cool tbh.

realizing that the author based WK on a shounen manga villain (hisoka from hunterxhunter) really explains all u need 2 know lol. but yeah i dont think minho will die or be killed by wk unless the author writes that and i dont see why she would. ill be surprised if we ever get a wk/minho sex scene tbh or even see them again in the sides. but i could be wrong ofc. that said because these characters arent real what happens or wont happen to them is based entirely on author's discretion. also Psychopath doesnt exist anymore as a legitimate diagnosis based on DSM. u can still call him one but like...he's either a sociopath or he's not, psychopath is just a slang term now. anyway, how bad minho gets treated is up to our imaginations until the author decides to show us what living with wookyoung is like. i prefer not to dwell on it myself lol.
I don't think he is a sociopath.....he just has a very dysfunctional way of showing love but it's different for Doona. He let's her do whatever she wants to him.
Okay so the worst we feared did happen. But it was even worse. Byun started to bet on horses, then tried to commit suicide by throwing himself into this lake river whatever it was. He was crying, trembling and fearful. Honestly the worst manga panels I saw in my life. Somehow he was saved and Wookyung was called to tend to him. Wookyung took Byun to his place, then started to beat him off right as he locked the door. The manga ends with Wookyung blushing while he kisses a Byun with bruises on his face. This is horrible, just plain horrible. I know it's fictional and whatever but I did not sing up to see and read something this vicious. All I wanted was a fun BDSM manga with some crazy drama and horny characters. Plus I don't think Wookyung deserved to be written like this. He was such a great character and now I'll forever have that image stuck in my brain. Sorry if I am overreacting, I am just boiling with emotions rn.
