i think the book said that couples usually do the dirty 6 to 12 months after they started dating, so cesar got worried because when canaria confessed he did it right away. hes distancing himself because because of that and because he remembered his mom telling him so approach the people you love slowly lol
so basically he just wants to wait 6 months before he does something again
