Hey I see a lot of comments saying shigiraki is a victim which in a sense is true, but so is almost everyone. Deku is a victim of bullying, todoroki is a victim of parental abuse, uraraka is literally poor, but you dont see em trying to kill everyone.
Stop treating shiggy like a soft uwu boy who needs to be protected when he was trying to wipe out the human race.

he technically didn't have a choice. you need to read the story better if you don't understand his character and backstory lmao..

I understand it and yeah he did have a choice as an adult. Even if he didn't that doesn't mean he's not trying to wipe out humanity?? If someone tells you to do awful shit and you do it that means you too are in the wrong.
A shitty childhood doesn't make a villain an uwu boy. We can look back at villains and consider what got them in that tough spot and sympathize, but to completely disregard it and think shiggy did nothing wrong is foolish

well after being manipulated from the age of 6 or 7 (I forgot) and told that the hero society is bad such snd such. It would take a miracle to try to decipher ur views. he's not trying to wipe out humanity btw he's trying to take down the corrupt hero society which I think is kinda good. ACAB.

i am in no way trying to justify Shigaraki murdering people for his own benefit, but instead i would like to explain. he never had a choice to begin with. following the events after he killed his family, he was picked up by AFO and was raised by him, with his corrupted ideals. he grew up believing his words as they worked to prove that everything his father taught him was right. also he witnessed first hand that no one gives a shit about others and that they'll turn a blind eye. and yes, everyone is a victim of something, and i'm not trying to compare trauma, but they all have someone good in their corner or someone they look up to. deku looks up to all might, uraraka has her parents, and shouto has his mother and siblings (even though they all have a complex relationship). they all had someone. compare that to shigaraki who had to depend on AFO... it shows it wasn't his fault that he became the villain we know him to be.
