How I think...

This was the most western a Korean comic had ever written. A feeling. Those I read before was either reincarnation or body transfer, which inspires western styles. The vibe of it, no. I sense east asian more, and I can understand why because the authors are from within these countries. However, this author know what to do. Took me surprise when I came upon it at the raw.

This strange similarity is like ‘Game of Thorn,’ which I don’t watch or read it. I’m just saying.

    This manhwa is truly amazing.
Btw you mean Game of Thrones???Game of Thrones is truly good till season 6...after that it becomes like a fanfiction lmao. The author is definitely a fan of the book/series cause it has many elements of it,esp the dad and the twin love/affection. However in GoT Cersei only loved her herself, unlike jamie

I had the exact same feeling

...Apart from the GoT part because if it’s for the dark medieval-fantasy vibe you get, a lot of western fictions are like that (it’s a whole genre). It’s just that GoT is the most famous and became representive of other works. If you are talking about the incest, you can find it in almost all literary genre, it’s way more common than we think. For example, there are some popular western Young Adult novels that tackle this trope (so yeah it’s not just in “mature” fiction)
The reason why readers on this site are schocked about the incest thing is because they are used to the east-Asian tropes found in manwha. Manwha do suggest or mention taboos but, from a country to another, taboos are not the same. So readers of manwha are not used to the same thing as readers of western fictions. Plus, webtoons are often toned-down, with less dark stuffs.

Sorry for the rant hehe ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

So true!! I seek originality rather than fluff in stories. I always seek for good seinen and well made horror manga. This story indeed does not follow the typical princess webtoon which ive come to hate tbh.
