have you found it? I also have read that story and I'm trying to find it too. But I don't think it is by Ike Reibun, I checked their works and nothing checks out.

I once read a story about a man who transferred to the countryside he was a police officer probably.he liked fashion so he hated that there was no places for shopping.and there was a fox who tried to seduce him multiple times shapeshifiting into human form but every time the policeman recognized him that fox has a fox mother and a human father.
