Well... I think since she's the countess she's the sole owner of all the property and money and stuff. Kinda like if she was a daughter her title wouldn't be countess but rather daughter of the count and on the other hand, besides the role being passed down to her, she would have had to marry to be called countess but since she has no husband I'm assuming it was passed down and her parents r dead or something. But then again that's just my opinion and all the titles in these stories are always so confusing ╥﹏╥
