Hi so I just finished reading "Sugar Dark" and I remember reading another manga that had the EXACT SAME plot?!?
Basically a cheerful uke escapes out of home into a japanese sweets shop, takes food, and meets a stoic, very kind guy who is practicing making some dessert. Uke gradually falls in love with him but the guy is unattainable because he is dense/doesn't realize uke's feelings and because of uke's possessive/abusive lover. His lover wants to keep him inside of house to fulfill his own insecurites (wants to be loved) and will hit him. Uke pretty much has no choice and decides to stay with his abusive lover, stops visiting the sweets guy, saying that it will be fine.
If someone knows this manga please direct me to it?
I think one of the authors plagiarized the other...imo "Sugar Dark" is probably plagiarized?
