I think it’s the same for me. It’s maybe because I like to see people vulnerable and open. It makes me feel like they aren’t faking anything and that they’re revealing their deepest concerns with me.

Well in my case i think that when my heart hurst for that person in the story and when i see the tears falling from my eyes it just makes me feel alive.
I dont get peoples feeling to well and I dont really get what empathy is, so I think thats what just pulls me to read sad stories

Lmao, I guess? I never cried, I always force myself to not cry because i was taught that it'd a sign of weakness. That if you cry, your weak and pathetic
So it's possible that I like crying faces and i find them pretty because I can't cry myself-
