This is basically a dj from a manga called crows and there are also movies made from it. I havent read or seen the movies though i just love this dj XD
I watched the movie, so be aware of spoilers.
Yes, they are all students and they go to a school for delinquents. They're basically fighting to conquer the school. Genji is a transfer student who happens to be the strongest in his class and wants to rule. He starts to form his gang. Izaki and Makise have their own gangs at first, but later they unite with Genji. Izaki's gang beat up Genji once, before they united (he was fighting alone and didn't give up, so he earned full respect etc. ^^). The final battle is between them and the third-years (their boss is Serizawa).
The scene in the woods: there's also another guy (the one in a hoodie) who's basically the strongest, but doesn't see a point in fighting, but in order to conquer the school everybody needs to be beaten up by the futer ruler, so Genji tries a couple of times and fails every time. The rest is just licentia poetica (it may mean that Izaki's reason to follow Genji is bc he fell in love with him or at least I think so, bc he's never done sth like that before).
Well, yeah. Sth like that more or less. Note that the movie has no traces of BL, so it's just made up ^^

since I'm stupid can someone please help me understanding ? so they're just students ? like some sort of gang? why are they fighting between each others ? I mean for what ? and what was that scene from the past ? izaki was from another group and saved kenji ?? and that scene between the threes ??? when that guy asked izaki if he's supporting kenji and he said > 'he thinks so' ¿¿¿
