I get why you would hate after school nightmare the ml was an asshole, the personalities of the other two were also not that good, and although I didn't totally like the ending I loved the final plot twist it was totally unexpected to me

As much as I hated it I do love the authors other works. She did one dealing internalized homophobia like 2 years later so I’ll consider it somewhat of a redemption arc.

Many manga with themes around gender identity usually revolves a lot about romance and how it dictates a persons gender usually coming off very homophobic Σ(-_-;)
