I mean, throughout both their lives, family members were never trustworthy and never rly took care of them. They only had each other n maybe a couple of friends.
Personally, after being abused by my own father, with my mother knowing it was happening but not doing anything about it. I find it very easy to trust someone that isn’t my parents compared to having to trust them.

They said they were 19 when they died (18 technically because they count from 1 and not 0) they were clearly studenst AND the next 5 years did not allow them to learn and grow because fun FACT abuse and ill treatment does not let people grow. Not only that, just because your age is not that of a child doesn't mean that they will have the wisdom and maturity of their number. My dad is 40 and he still acts mature and childish. Never assume how a person should act because of their age.
