I don't understand

Since she worships him as an idol, like all fans do they only see one side of their idols, the side that only lives for their fans and loves their fans. However, he's also a host so that means he was lying the entire time. To a fan, that's the ultimate heartbreak lmaooo. I'm not that big a fan for any real people so I don't know the feeling.

As Jordyn says, it's idol culture. Fans would be DEVASTATED and would stop supporting their idols if they so much as suspect they're in a serious relationship. She idealized A as pure and perfect and he not only is a Host who *ahem* "services" people. For money. But he's also a masochist. Basically sees him as a hypocrite for shattering her fantasy of him ╮(￣▽￣)╭

That's very toxic , if I was a fan of a musician and I knew they were in the host business (A seems like he is being used all the time ) I would sympathise with my idol , and support them even more so some day they can leave the host industry behind. : ( kinda sad she dismisses him so quickly without being sympathetic

This kind of got me thinking about the idol culture, and how sadly it seems like most fans forget their "idol" is a human being too :( , it seems like it's an obsession with the person's life rather than their art.

It seems very toxic to us, but I'm sure there is something that seems normal for us but is super toxic to them. It's not like we're perfect in that regard either - just look at all the tabloids and articles that turn every little thing that any celebrity does into a huge circus. Celebs can't even go get a coffee in sweatpants without being shamed for looking frumpy, fat or depressed.

not all fans would be like her it's just some fans that would end up acting like her. she basically worshipped him and now that she found out he's a masochist she felt like her world was crushed. im into kpop n all but if one was to be a host or masochist i wouldnt mind just because it's not my life and they deserve to do what they like. and there are people like her who would be devastated.

i don’t think it had anything to do with that.. it’s more ab the fact that her image of him shattered when she found out he pretty much sold his body. she’s not the type to kinkshame and if it was the masochism, she would’ve stopped hitting him rather than getting turned on regardless
