not exactly locked. the one who is marked just needs pheromones. pheromones from any of the snake tribe's members will do but if the pheromones don't belong to the marker they end up doing more damage. ivan's pheromones weren't compatible with the mark so they just provided short term relief and were actually making things worse in the long term. and i think i remember reading that the mark has been removed too so there's no threesome situation now lol
When, how, wait so when they had the threesome it was just to i relive the pheromones bcz Ivan and the mc wasn’t compatible so they had to have Alex the one who made the mark due to his obsession with Ivan then afterward falls in love with the mc. To relives his and the mc’s hormones with a threesome with Ivan bcz Ivan and the mc love each other and they needed Alex’s help. And in that process they somehow removed the mark? Like did Alex give up his mark so that the mc and him could be happy, but the marks still there tho?
