you're right but...this is a "once in a lifetime situation in a manga"...I mean, usually you see the girl crying out loud or running away (while crying -.-) right after the rejection...so clichè!
at least she did something different eheheheheh xD

But a teacher? Sometimes it's just to much.

Well, he didn't just turn her down he actually told her that he liked guys, hence the slap.

That doesn't warrant a slap. Why get pissed if the guy isn't playing for the same team? That makes no sense at all. With that logic, I can go and slap the store owner because they refuse to sell a certain item. XD That's idiotic.

I'm not trying to be mean here, really, but think about what you're saying. You may call it something cute like "fangirl-ing", but how is your behavior any better than the creepy pedophile who watches little kids at the park and then goes home to whack off? You may not whack off, necessarily, but you are using other people to further your own fantasy. Worse, it's without their knowledge or consent. What you fantasize about fictional characters in a manga is harmless. But doing that to real live people is wrong. Your "fangirl" behavior could ruin someone's career and/or life if someone got the wrong idea from your behavior. You certainly wouldn't want some creeper following you around and making up sexual fantasies in their head about you and those around you. In fact, I'm betting you'd be super pissed off and disgusted if someone did that to you. Please think of others before you act or speak selfishly. Consider their position and treat them with the same courtesy you would expect to have directed at you. I'm a fujoshi too, but I keep my fantasies focused on fictional characters who can't be hurt, inconvenienced or slandered by them. Being a fujoshi is a wonderful thing, being a RESPONSIBLE fujoshi is even better.

I say all this not to be mean to you, but to protect friends that I have who have come under great scrutiny and duress from heteros who can accept homosexuality as long as they are not actually faced with it, all because a curious "fangirl" opened her mouth and spoke about her fantasies to the wrong person. Once people like that are faced with the possibility that a colleague or friend is homosexual, even if it is a lie, they freak out and become abusive, paranoid homophobes. This is what you are setting your "targets" up for. When I and my friends were younger, this kind of thing happened, but very rarely. Recently, it occurs quite often. Young women will "befriend" one of my gay friends simply to satisfy their twisted curiosity. Fellow humans are not like a new purse or pet you get to show off how cool and trendy you are. They have feelings and a life to live. Those get trampled all over when someone behaves in the way you've described above. Friends have lost jobs, lovers, their homes and one lost his life because an irresponsible young girl couldn't keep her fantasies limited to her own mind.

Say anything you want, fantasize about anything you want concerning fictional characters, I won't stop you or say a word. However, when you transfer that behavior to actual, real life people, I'm forced to speak up and speak out against it.

Mameiha, I've read what u wrote up and I think I get why you're giving this answer...
We were just talking about that situation in this manga and what we would've done if this girl was one of us (clearly we would have been understanding and we even probably woul've been supportive of the teacher)...I'm pretty sure that none of us is a fangirl.stalker or a "irresponsable fangirl-fujoshi"......

Again, I understand your answer and I think it comes from your prospective and your history behind this topic so I won't say anything (I'm not awere of all the facts but it seem not something light...)....

That's my opinion though, I may even be wrong (cause I'm not omnypotent but...) I'm pretty sure that all of us here (the ones who commented this post and more) are just fujoshi in love with yaoi and with all of the (sometimes) twisted love and romance portraied on these pages...(⌒▽⌒)

Thank you for your response and understanding. I'm very happy to hear you say those things. It's very easy to lose one's self in a fantasy and allow it to spill over into real life. Especially when you are young and impetuous. If what I have said here helps you and others pause, even for a moment, before making a mistake that could hurt others or yourself, I have succeeded. Thank you, also, for responding with maturity and grace. That maturity helps me feel confident that you, personally, are a responsible young woman with a "good head on her shoulders". I hope that others will read this and react exactly as you have. Again, thank you for your response and I look forward to talking with you again in the future.

It is I that I thank you Mameiha, you opened yourself with your experiences and I know it's not an easy thing to do.

I'm now happy to say I've found a friend in you....a person that, just like me, comes here to read and enjoy the simple pleasure that these mangas gives...
Sometimes all we need it's to watch something (that we know) will end up with an happy ending....the world itself it's alredy full of bad(yeah...I know it's an "elementary-school's word" but it has a meaning >_< ) and terrible things...

Ps I look forward to talking to u again, this time as friends (●'0'●)ノ bye

Even an "elementary school meaning" can make a great impact. I'm old and I have seen a lot of the "bad and terrible" things you mentioned. If I can prevent even one more from adding to the misery, I must do my best. Another way of preventing the "bad" things is to make as many "good" things happen as possible. Becoming friends with you, to me, is definitely one of those "good" things. Thank you. Until next time, have a great day.
