But it doesn't matter if the next king has the blessing or not, I know it's a custom but they can change it. Maybe it will be difficult since it's the symbol of power but that doesn't mean they can't go on without it, other kings don't have it and they are fine lol

Well yes, they can survive without the golden blessingsbut of course there will be conflicts of the "legitimacy" of the next ruler. But I do hope someone worthy can step up to the throne after Wolfgang's reign
