Don't get it....

If you're an uploader, (and if you are thanks for all your hard work it's appreciated!) why do you let the negative comments bother you? Why would you give all the screams and hateful remarks about uploading faster etc anything but a passing glance. They're just words written by people who for some reason think they have the right to demand anything. I've had some people reply horrid things to my comments, I just snicker and write them down to use them later if they're good enough. Skim over the negative childish remarks and focus on all the people thanking you, I'm sure you'll find they far outweigh the crap the "children" write. Thicken that skin sweetheart, if not, you're gonna be letting the A..holes of this world get to you for the rest of your life. If you want to drop a series then by all means do it, it's your right, its your life. If you decide to carry on, do so and skip reading all the demanding comments, they'll get their updates when you post them and that's that, period.

I agree with you. But not all people are strong enough to handle hateful comments. The uploader reach his/her limits. Rude people should learn some manners

Those people were ungrateful and I would stop updating too if i was them too. Yes there probably wasn't that many negative comments, but she is also sharing this for free. She has no obligation to keep updating. She made an honest mistake, but they were rude.

You're absolutely right, not all people can handle hateful/rude remarks directed at them, but they can learn to. Anyone can grow stronger and develop the ability to let it roll right off them, I speak from experience. I guarantee you that almost all of these people wouldn't have the balls to say this to their face, it's only the anonymity of the venue that gives them courage, and because of this anonymity they'll never "learn manners" because there is no downside if they don't. My comment was meant to encourage the uploader to develop that strength to laugh at the cowards, not forgive them, but to realize how little their opinions matter.

You're right, and it's a shame that those of us who truly appreciated the hard work and effort to upload this for our entertainment will also now miss out. I'm not now, nor was I ever encouraging them to continue to upload, if the asinine remarks were too much for them to enjoy uploading as they did before. I'll miss the series, but would never ask anyone to continue to do anything that they no longer enjoy or feel it's worthwhile due to venomous remarks made by "obviously" hateful people who for some reason feel entitled.

Very well said. I like your thinking. Hoping rude people will think rationally before spouting nonsense. And for the uploader maybe lets just wait to cool down his/her head a little and i'm hoping that he/she will reconsider looking more on the positive side

anxiety does amazing stuff. i know a translator who's working on one of my favorite chinese novels, and they had to stop reading the comments simply because there was an argument about how the novel was shitty and it made the translator feel super anxious and discouraged since it was one of their favorite novels too. although it would be great if people could just ignore hate comments, wouldn't it be better if hate comments didn't exist at all?

Yea that's what I'm thinking. Why hate on it? If you don't like it then just stop reading it. People just need to be grateful that there are translators and they spend a lot of time on it. Also money

Nah, we dropped it bc they said they will report to author and get us taken down forcefully if we didn't stop.

    Ariel December 17, 2020 9:29 pm

And also, bc in the first place we never intended to translate something that already had an official translation going on
