Exactly my thoughts. They wanted to push it to continue and they brought a more complex story. It would have been ok if it was the only manga/mangha/mangwa that we were reading but guess what, i am reading around 300. It reminds me of Knight Run. First season was a fantastic, but moving forward I lost every connection with it because it started talking for a million different characters.
This was never meant to only have one main character. Kubera was always meant to follow this direction. I feel I have to remind that it's not the author's fault if someone doesn't get that. The characters are added in order for the story to make sense. If the characters are taken away the story doesn't make sense.
It is true that a story needs a multitude of characters to be good. What you don't understand is that I am not complaining because I don't get it . I complain because he did a plethora of time jumps with irrelevant characters. Yes I can follow up with Ran(or what's his name that is afraid of halfs) because he was introduced properly. When I follow a nastika that had little time on screen and suddenly I have to timejump 3 times to different eras where I follow 3 different species and then continue back to to the nastika or even worse the main story... That is not possible when normal people read a lot of manga, mangwa, mangha.
It was the best thing ever. Now I am lost with all this time jumps, different stories, backtracks.
Meh.
