Read it again, you will see Seungho gives Nakyum many opportunities to explain what happened but Nakyum remains silent. Understandable as he is scared and traumatised, but to Seungho that may as well be an admission of guilt. To me it is quite obvious that Seungho is desperate for Nakyum to convince him he didn't try to escape, but he won't offer any explanations. What else could Seungho be expected to think in that situation?
Oh i read it about 5 more times. The thing is that Seungho is impatient and unnecessarily rushing Nakyum like hes gonna try to run off again when he clearly said "I did not run away sir..". And how could he explain himself when hes currently emotionally unstable cuz he just got friggin kidnapped and nearly killed. tf??? And i see what you mean that Seungho is desperately looking for an explanation but isnt Nakyum denying his baseless accusations enough? Like im pretty sure he denied that he ran away like 3 times now. At this point it seems Seungho wants to believe that Nakyum ran way. Either way, no..I did not expect Seungho to hit Nakyum after everything that happened in the book.
