Based on the novel, the ML withdrew his investments from the heroine's fam business so the FL thought it was because of her. She talked to him and the ML said it got nothing to do w her, the ML invested his money to Rose fam (villainess) and he said
Coldly to the FL that everyone that betrayed him were always cut in the throat so the FL profusely apologize and begged to the ML fast forward to the opening of the new business(cruise ship??) of the ML and villainess,,, Rose pushed FL out of the cruise ship and the ML saved her they talked and the ML confessed how he love the FL so much he had no intention on letting her go and the FL reciprocated then they make love.
(The misunderstanding is really short considering they just fought for just like 7-9 chapters in the novel)
