Honestly, it's very apparent that he grew up in a dysfunctional family. He was probably abused as a child and can only feel power when he is dominating women.
I do agree he is degrading himself as well as these women. I even think he cares for the main character in his sick twisted way. I still think he is a rapist because he forces himself on the mc even though she has made it apparent that she wants nothing to do with him. While the others may be consensual it doesn't excuse what he is doing to get the mc.

I’m thinking the author made it clear that he isn’t a rapist bc of the fact that these women are giving him the ok. Don’t come at me tho but do. I’m also thinking he has no respect for himself as well. He degrades women? Not sure degrade is the right word but I just need a better understanding where this man stands.
