I think its an artistic rendition? Like maybe in reality its huge blobs of a brown purple color, which aren't stereotypically conceived as being pretty.
Even though obviously thats super stupid and homegirl deserves better than being judged solely by her looks even if she is a clueless idiot half the time
In the book it was large purple splotches, like she was a patched/spotted dog and much less appealing.
ok that makes much more sense but it already bothered me in the beginning when she drew on freckles with her eyepencil and they called it ugly...was that also different in the book?
I can't remember the exact description. Other than she would would put spots on her face, I couldn't tell you exactly what they looked like, though I imagine it was similar to freckles. She was dotting her face with with her eyeliner for sure. Though it might have been all over or in weird patterns?
How can she be super beautiful but 3 dots in her face make her disgusting ?? EVen though they are all animals and markings on the body should be super normal....and the peacock has markings in his face as well??? I dont get it, that is not how beauty works at all
