Ootori-Sensei became obsessed and infatuated with Shiki, he droped his whole entire life to elope with his one true love. Because Sensei friend tried to intervene with their eloping -->(Since Ootori had a good future his friend hated the fact that he would be willing to drop it for a male prostitude). <-- So Shiki who heard his hurtful remarks, decided that the other guy had a point and he should remain a prostitude because someone who sells his body doesn't deserve a happily ever after.
That didn't work out well, because the doctor who wanted him soooo much wouldn't let go of his arm. The uke had no choice but to try and cut off his own arm to show that he had no desire to leave with him. The Sensei wasn't able to recover from this ordeal and became mentaly unstable and was place at a Psychiatric Hospital. Since the Uke recovered from his self inflicted wound he and his caretaker decided to move out of the city where Shiki will continue being a prostitude.
This was really sad. everyone deserves a happily ever after. Imo
