I was thinking the same and I was thinking it'll be Armin. He renewed his promise with Eren and Levi overheard it. I bet Armin is going to bite it and Levi saves him using the titan serum. Armin's character arc is mostly about his insecurity of not being strong enough to help his friends. I bet it'll help when he becomes a titan. That's my theory, anyway.
I don't want to be 'that person', but we can't ignore characters like Levi too. He's an important character, yes, but his story has been told. We know of his birth, upbringing, and when/how he entered the service. This story is about Eren, and instead it's become about Levi.
Who's to say that all this face time isn't a way to get rid of Levi in order to focus on Eren?
Though that would be a big leap, and a huge test for Isayama and the series.
I think Levi is safe for now. He has the titan serum stuff after all, and is going to end up having to save the life of someone else with it (or maybe himself, but I don't think so since he's already the best fighter; titan powers would be overkill and a waste). I think it's more likely he'll be choosing between two dying people in the coming chapters (Armin seems highly likely to be one of them) to give the power to. Also, Levi is a fan favourite and I'm pretty sure the author wouldn't want to chance losing readers by killing him off.

I might be confused as to how the serum works, but I don't think it's that simple. I think you have to have some relation to the mentally aware, shifting, Titans for the serum to work. Otherwise, the serum won't work. If it worked on just anyone, it would lose its purpose.
Remember that Eren's father is a shifter as well.
The only two families capable of containing memory (not able to wipe) are the Reiss and Ackerman family.
So I think the only people in Levi's squad who can use it are Eren, Mikasa, Christa, and Levi himself.
There could be a mix in the blood line somewhere (where a Reiss got with an Ackerman), which would explain the Ackerman's ability and duty to protect the Royal family with more strength than over 1000 soldier each Ackerman.
And who knows, maybe Gresha and the Ackermans are more closely related than we know.

Damn, that was really ominous... Now I'm fidgety because I feel an important death is coming.
