Doesnt matter... it could have been the universal sign of peace. It’s meaning now has changed and it shouldn’t be used in media like this

It's not "legit swastika" This Buddhist symbol has been used centuries before that. Also note which way the symbol is turning different from the "legit swastika"
Certain foreign words with completely different meanings might sound like an offensive derogatory for English speakers, should people not use those existing words as well??
