I don't think he can see it, just like how alpheus doesn't see the black smokey aura on anastacius, I think it's the guy who got rejected by Lucas, the king who became really famous and proved Lucas wrong where a someone who doesn't have magic can still be Worthy of king, and now he wants revenge on Lucas... So technically, it might be Lucas's to fault this is happening in the first place lol
