I read the novel and frick the emperor. When he divorced Navier and Navier wish to remarry Heinley, he opposed bc he wanted to keep Navier by his side even if she's no longer empress (i think he likes her whether romantically or bc they grew up together)
Duke Ergy helped in the process of Navier escaping to Heinley's kingdom bc again, the Emperor kept on visiting Navier and even asked guards to guard her family's mansion (if im not mistaken) not letting her remarry or even leave because she was the ex empress skskssksks
Oh and Navier's Brother got exiled in the novel because of trashta and I think it'll happen next chap ╥﹏╥
