I like her and all but...

Sorry to say but she was a bit to stupid there. Choosing Nadricka as her partner for her OTHER concubine's celebration banquet. Nice. Given Eclot is her concubine, he'll have no partner to attend with since no one would be bold enough to fill in the princess' role while she's attending bruh. It's like coming to your own party alone only to see your partner with another. Talk about face. Also she didn't think about Nadricka's position at all either, PLS remember he's a slave, ofc people gonna downgrade him, be it openly or covertly ffs. And that along with the last punishment she handed, is bringing a lot of attention on him, BAD attention. He's slowly transforming into one of her weaknesses when that other bitch is still lurking around...

If he didn't come with her though, she wouldn't have been able to identify the guests such as the empress. It's kind of a lose-lose situation.

You'd think Eclot wouldn't know the face of the Empress either ? xD

But Eclot would be suspicious why she can't identify the empress.

She didnt know much thing about the banquet, and might wasnt aware about the culture that one should bring a partner to not be embarrassed. As risky as it may sounds bringing nadricka there, he’s the only one she trusted at the moment. Eclot is highly dangerous as she was yet to understand whats behind his unwavering loyalty, and she came to conclusion that if eclot ever found her acting all clueless in a banquet where nobles tend to attend regularly, her life might be at stake.
It wasnt wise to bring nadricka, a well known slave, to a high class party, as it might invite mockery and bad attention, but there wasnt a better, less risky choice she had :/
Also, the princess had assured nadricka before that nobody would dare to threaten her (and that included her possessions), meaning that if somebody ever did, she’d protect him, and we all see she stood against that drunk bastard
