Maybe? It depends on how patient you can be with the story. Right now they are trying to solve the issue with the debts and management of the Duchy. I believe the character development will come during that process or after everything, ya know?
I agree with you. Tho if ayanami is not comfortable with the story, then they can drop this. It's their decision really, but if they somewhat wants to stay and see things through then it would be good too. A little patience and a little faith from the author for the story progress can't hurt.
When she finally saw Yus and other people as people more than characters she wrote, I'm like yes, a character development but then she goes "so he cane be together with the female lead". In the end you still think it's a story. In the end, you didn't get that chara development. Ugh should I keep reading this story? It's going bland for me. （￣へ￣）
