I totally agree with you #－.－) He can just tell them to not show off that much in public, if he's or other people are not comfortable about it.. Plus Kimin is his friend i think kimin would understand or consider it.. The fact that his actually stalking them and ruining their date is actually not a friend would do..
Especially becuase he wants to ruin a date of a person that beats up the people that messes with the date (>_<)

I mean yeah, it does tend to make other people feel uncomfortable, even if its a male and a female but as a friend, he shouldve just told him to not show that much in public to not make other people awkward, not stalk them on their date without permission and try to make the date go bad or whatever.
