Not sure how I feel about the way the translation is portrayed. There's other expression slang-like speech out there. The "yar" thing is really throwing me. All I hear in my head are pirates. It's sort of hard to take seriously, which sucks cause I love Yoneda Kou's work.

    I understand that that's why, but ever "yer" would've been better than "yar". There are other ways to express accents/dialects.

    100% agree!! I know people are like "It's kansai-ben!!!" but I've read a million comics with kansai dialect and none of them used "yar matey".
    Even "ya" would've sufficed

    I understand that Yoneda-sensei likes Kansai dialect. Unless there's a difference in the way different characters are talking, I don't see the need to change the English. Because all speech has an accent, I think the translators should have done it standardly with just a “they're all speaking Kansai dialect” note at the beginning.
