This is correct.

Osiris was the one god that couldn't be killed. Isis obviously gains much by knowing what method it was exactly that actually managed to kill him, as she's obviously want to know whether Horus has inherited that weakness. That is an important piece of info, considering Osiris' supposed invincibility is what made him the strongest and what allowed him to replace Ra, the sun god, as the king of Egypt.
