I really don’t think it’s because he’s worried she might have an illness. I think he’s starting to realize that she actually CAN get pregnant due to the crazy coincidence that happened related to the curse.
hue doesn't care if lucia is pregnat or not. all he cares is lucia's health. he doesn't admit his love and care for her yet
but his set up firm on her health. he doesn't want hearing or seeing lucia getting sick. and on the upcoming chapters if it goes along with the novel then you will see it on his point of view that all he cares is her well being.

They are making such a big fuss out of nothing. From the chapters before they have made it pretty clear that she would like to get pregnant one day and actually regretted her decision. Her being unable to have kids was a good thing BACK THEN since they did not love each other. But things are different now? He is infatuated by her and SO is HER. Her not being able to have children saddens him...The same way it saddens her. Humans...such complicated creatures
