i guess cedric likes adeline because he was bound with the plot not that she resembles emily. it was a misunderstanding between adeline and cedric in the og plot later when they’re finally came in terms to their feeling but adeline misunderstood again because she saw emily’s painting which resembles her.
still, this is just my guess based of what i read tho
riiight, im not sure why she is so firm on that belief... anyone would think that the reason why the ml fell in love with the fl was because of her resemblance to his dead wife at first.
and the mc doesnt seem that dumb... so... she either just only see him as a book character rather than a human... whuch is a common thing in these thpe of series... or... plot armor... the author just made it that way for the story :/

I don’t really understand why she is persistent on divorcing him and think that he and the og female lead are fated to be together. Wasn’t the only reason he liked the og female lead was because she resembles Emily? Now that she changed the story, there shouldn’t be a reason why he would like the og female lead. Right?
